I was born in Rome, Italy, on
January 28th 1948.
I graduated in Medicine and
Surgery at the Catholic University of Rome on
July 20th 1972, and finished my specialization in Urology on July 1975.
I began my career at the Department of Surgery of the University of Siena, Italy in Febbruary 1973.
Since 1986 I am Assistant Professor of
Urology in the Department of Urology - University of Perugia, where I teach in the post-graduate
school of Urology.
In the course of my career I have published
over 100 articles in Italian and International Medical Journals.
My first article on prostatitis was published
in 1981 and my last on this field in July 2005 (Archivio Italiano
di Andrologia e Urologia).
